This WestJet attendant really knows how to cheer people up! The airplane had sat on the JFK tarmac with no air-conditioning for half an hour – they handed out moist towelettes , and when we got in the air and cooled down our drinks were delivered with lots of smiles!…

There’s just something about libraries – this one is pretty much at the top of the list!

A great modern retailing of the Greek tale of Orpheus and Eurydice – they didn’t even Disney-fy it with a happy ending… But left us with the challenge to greet each day with a song in spite of what the fates may decree. Hermes autograph. Eurydice autograph.

We had been told that the Abyssinian Baptist Church had great gospel music, but …you need to line up at 8 AM and we just didn’t make it there on time. So we listened to the choir from the outside for a while.
